Upon arrival at our yard, a member of the team will come and assist you, emptying your metals into suitable containers for weighing.
Once in the containers, your metal will be moved to our scales for weighing.
Once all metals have been weighed, ID approved and the relevant paperwork is done we will issue a fast payment to you either by instant bank transfer, cheque or credit to our in-house pre-paid Mastercard.

We cannot buy your scrap metal without an accepted form of ID. To save turning you away and wasting your time, please bring one of the following acceptable forms of ID with you:
Please note, that mobile phone bills are not permitted by licence regulations. Supporting utility bills must NOT be older than three months. However, council tax for the year is permitted. Modern foreign identity cards are not allowed.
Due to a change in legislation, licenced scrap metal dealers cannot pay you in cash. We can pay by cheque, instant bank transfer or on our pre-paid Sullivans Mastercards.
We do not offer a collection service, but you are welcome to bring your scrap metal to us but you must come in a motorised vehicle – this is to comply with our licence requirements. Whilst we do not offer scrap metal collections directly ourselves, with the help of our network of independent collectors we can help you arrange scrap metal collections.
