We cannot legally buy your scrap metal without an accepted form of ID.

To save turning you away and wasting your time, please bring one of the following acceptable forms of ID with you:

• A valid UK Photocard driving licence.
• A valid passport is supported by either a utility bill such as gas, electricity, water, council tax, home telephone, bank statement or credit card statement.

Please note, that mobile phone bills are not permitted by licence regulations. Supporting utility bills must NOT be older than three months.

However, council tax for the year is permitted. Unfortunately, modern foreign identity cards are not allowed.

All customers should please arrive in a motor vehicle. This is a condition of our licence to operate. Any other access either by foot or cycle must be pre-authorised by telephone first.

No. It is no longer legal for any licenced scrap metal dealer to pay for commodities with cash.

Due to a change in legislation, licenced scrap metal dealers cannot pay cash.
Therefore we pay by:

• INSTANT: bank transfer (quick and convenient) for which you will need your bank sort code and account number.
• PRE-PAID:  Sullivans of Mortlake Mastercard. We give the cards to you and then credit them with the value of your scrap metal. The card can then be used at ATM machines, in shops and online. In fact anywhere displaying the Mastercard sign.
• CHEQUE

While we do not offer collections directly ourselves, we do have trusted and licenced independent transporters who we can arrange to pick up your scrap metal.

The amount you will receive for your scrap metal will vary depending on the quantity, metal type and price of the day on the London Metal Exchange. Call or email us for daily prices, or visit our South West London site.

Our prices reflect the purity of the metal that we buy. Simply put, the fewer contaminants there are in your metal, the better the price we can pay you. Examples of how you can help us to be able to pay you more are:

• Removing brass fittings from copper tubes.
• Removing steel and plastic caps from brass radiator valves.
• Removing plastic handles, caps and hoses from brass bathroom fittings.

Our customers mainly hail from South West London and Surrey.

We are easily accessible from the boroughs of Richmond, Wandsworth, Fulham and Hammersmith, Ealing, Hounslow, Kingston, Spelthorne, Chiswick and Brentford.

We are licenced Scrap Metal dealers and supporters of the British Metal Recycling Association (BMRA). We are also licensed by the Royal Borough of Richmond Upon Thames to buy scrap metal.

Subject to agreement/discussion, we also recycle ferrous metals* (Iron & Steel) depending on size and quantity. We do buy car batteries. Our services do not extend to domestic appliances (fridges or freezers).
